Daze in the life
I finally redesigned my website after digging through volumes of my work for months. Prior to the redesign, I hadn’t updated it in almost a decade, while the original design had been unchanged since 2005. The undertaking was unexpectedly painful, revisiting past lives. While I allowed myself to feel a bit of pride in my accomplishments, I was alternately overwhelmed by the quantity of decades of work while feeling insignificant in the face of current events.
I’m particularly happy to finally have “A Challenge” available to read in its entirety. I know it’s not ideal to read a whole graphic novel on a screen, but perhaps it’ll entice any interested publishers to gimme a holler. Integrating more videos into my pages felt like a nice upgrade as well. I think I’ll be posting some thoughts on selections of my older work here after this long trip through the past.
Like so many of y’all, I’m sick of having to rely on the apps as “a necessary evil” for finding work and connection. That necessity isn’t going to substantially decrease anytime soon, but it’s nice to have a refreshed/permanent home for my art & music, and a way to stay in touch with me directly if you wanna. As a reminder, my schedule’s opened up in 2026 so DM/e-mail me for any of your cartooning/ storyboarding needs. ⚡️
